Currently, McKean Township does not offer a Recycling Program. You can call your waste hauler provider to see if they offer residential recycling.
Open to Erie County residents ONLY. Pre-registration is required. A $20 co-pay will be applied for the first 100 pounds collected with an additional 75-cent per pound fee thereafter.

Acceptable Materials are consumer electronics (e-waste) and household hazardous waste. Examples of e-waste include televisions, cd players, pcs, printers, peripherals, mobile phones, VCRs, steros, tape players, fax machines, and copiers. Acceptable forms of hazardous waster include: cleaning products, automotive products, lawn and garden, indoor pesticides, mercury thermostats, thermometers, fluorescent light bulbs, CFL bulbs, driveway sealer, flammable products, paint and paint products, auto and household batteries. WE DO NOT ACCEPT: ammunition, explosives, radioactive material, biological (sharps), smoke detectors.
