ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The McKEAN TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS, ERIE COUNTY, PENNSYLVAUNIA will receive bids for the COLONIAL VILLAGE SUBDIVISION SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT REPLACEMENT PROJECT until 7:30 P.M., prevailing time, on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at the office of the McKEAN TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS at 9231 Edinboro Road, McKean, PA 16426, at which place and time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project generally consists of the installation of a new package sewage treatment plant and other appurtenant and restoration activities.
Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the office of the McKean Township Supervisors at 9231 Edinboro Road, McKean, PA 16426.
Copies of the contract documents may be obtained by submitting a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 to Mark J. Corey & Associates at P.O. Box 268, Harborcreek, PA 16421; (814) 897-3180 for each set of contract documents so obtained. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents.
A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected.
Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the McKean Township Supervisors will conduct a hearing on November 5, 2026 at 7:15 p.m. to take place at the McKean Twp Muni. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd. McKean, PA. The purpose of the said public hearing is to inform and obtain public comment on proposed Ordinance 2-26 which amends the McKean Twp. Zoning Ordnance 2-1983, whereby adding a new section “Data Centers” and adding Data Centers as a Special Exception in the I-1 Industrial District.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Supervisors intend to and will consider the formal adoption and enactment of Ordinance No. 2-26 at a regular meeting on November 5, 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the McKean Township Board of Supervisors will hold their Organization and Regular Meeting on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA.
The McKean Township Auditors will hold their Organization Meeting on January 6, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA.
The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Twp. Supervisors for 2026 will be held at the McKean Township Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., the third Thursday of the months of March, May, July, and September at 4:00 p.m. and December 31st at 9:00 a.m.
The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Twp. Planning Commission for 2026 will be held at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Twp. Sewer Authority for 2026 will be held at McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the 3rd Wednesday of the months of March, July, and November at 6:00 p.m.
