NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the Township of McKean, Erie County, PA, will conduct a public hearing on July 5, 2018, at 7:15 pm to take place at the McKean Township Municipal Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Road, McKean, PA. The purpose of the said public hearing is to inform and obtain public comment on proposed Ordinance No. 1-18 which amends the McKean Township Zoning Ordinance - Article IV - Establishment of Districts to rezone land identified by Index No. 31-13-47-1 from B-1 Highway/Plaza Commerical to I-1 Industrial.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors intend to and will consider the formal adoption and enactment of Ordinance No. 1-18 at a regular meeting on July 5, 2018. The complete text of the of the proposed ordinance is available for examination at the Mckean Township Municipal Building during regular office hours and at the offices of the newspaper in which this notice is published. PUBLIC NOTICE/ ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The McKean Township Board of Supervisors, Erie County, Pennsylvania will hold a special meeting for any business to come before the Board and to receive and consider bids for the Van Camp Road Bridge Replacement Project until 3:00 PM prevailing time, on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the McKean Township Municipal Building, 9231 Edinboro Road, McKean, PA 16426, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project will generally consist of the construction of an aluminum structural plate box culvert structure as well as the installation of riprap scour protection and general restoration activities.
Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the McKean Township Municipal Bldg., (telephone 814-476-7414), Copies of the contract documents may be obtained for a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 from Mark J. Corey & Associates, P.O. Box 268, Harborcreek, PA 16421 for each set of contract documents so obtained or by calling (814) 897-3180. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents.
A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01.
Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding,
Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
