NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED USE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS for the Entitlement Community: McKean Township
FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2025 CDBG PROGRAM
Notice is hereby given that Erie County and its entitlement community of: McKean Township will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA 16426. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain citizen input and comment on McKean Township’s proposed use of $97,562 in Federal Fiscal Year 2025 CDBG funds, and to receive any complaints or grievances regarding the Township’s CDBG funds. This meeting is accessible to individuals with disabilities and/or for persons with Limited English Proficiency. If you wish to attend and require special accommodations, please notify the CDBG Administrator office 72 hours in advance of the public hearing at 814-451-7330 or acunningham@eriecountypa.gov to make such arrangements.

None of the above listed and described activities are expected to result in displacement. The deadline to submit the 2025 CDBG Application is 10/28/2025. The application documents will be available for public inspection at the County of Erie Department of Planning and Community Development, 150 East Front St., Suite 300 Erie Pennsylvania 16507 during normal business hours. The deadline to receive written comments on the County's proposed use of CDBG funds, and/or any complaints or grievances regarding the County’s CDBG funds is 10/16/2025 and may be forwarded to: Tony Cunningham at 814-451-7330, acunningham@eriecountypa.gov, or mailed to Attn: Tony Cunningham The County of Erie Department of Planning and Community Development, 150 East Front St., Suite 300 Erie Pennsylvania 16507. PUBLIC NOTICE
The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Twp. Supervisors for 2025 will be held at the McKean Township Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.; the 3rd Thursday of the months of March, May, July and September at 4:00 p.m. and December 31st at 9:00 a.m.
The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Twp. Planning Commission for 2025 will be held at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Recreation Authority will be held at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9321 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the 3rd Thurs. at 6:00 p.m., every other month beginning January 2025.
The regular scheduled meeting of the McKean Twp. Water Authority for 2025 will be held at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on June 26th at 3:00 p.m.
The regular scheduled meetings of the McKean Twp. Sewer Authority for 2025 will be held at the McKean Twp. Mun. Bldg., 9231 Edinboro Rd., McKean, PA on the 3rd Wednesday of the months of March, July, and November at 6:00 p.m.
